You can also find several tavernas and mini-markets within walking distance of the studios and for even more there is a regular bus service just 100 metres away that can take you to nearby Kos Town, which is a great place to spend shopping, eating out or visiting some of the nearby attractions.\n\nWith its almost beachfront location these modern 2-star Rena Studios offer pleasant and affordable accommodation that is ideal for couples and families with its self-catering studios and apartments along with some great features to enjoy such as the large outdoor swimming pool. Whether you are looking to make the most of the Greek sun on the terrace by the pool or choose to just sit down for a bit in the lounge with a TV after a long day, the Rena Studios make an ideal place for it all. There is also a pool/snack bar that is open throughout the day with snacks and refreshments to help keep you going between meals and for added comfort air conditioning is available in your studio for a local charge. \n\n##Location\n The island of Kos is a great place to go if you are looking for plenty of water sports, especially windsurfing with plenty of chances to try on offer at the beaches, along with diving centres so you can even go out on scuba diving excursions and lessons for a memorable experience. Kos is the 3rd largest island of the Greek islands and along with Rhodes is one of the more popular choices for tourists and holidays. The island's town is Kos Town with a mixture of Venetian, Ottoman and modern architecture makes for interesting days out should you choose to explore its many shops, cafes and restaurants. The island also offers several historical and fascinating sites that are well worth a visit with ancient castles and monuments such as the Roman Odeon coliseum and the Nerantzia Castle. \n\n##Accomodation\n The Rena Studios consist of simple yet well-furnished studios that can accommodate 1 - 3 people and come with a separate kitchenette, private bathroom and combined living room/sleeping area. Air conditioning is available in all the studios for additional charge and all studios also come with a fridge and all the essential cooking facilities. \n\n##Eating and Drinking\n Guests staying at the Rena Studios have the choice of preparing their own meals with the self-catering facilities provided in all the studios or when you feel like a change you need only walk a short distance to find a selection of tavernas that serve a variety of tasty Greek dishes. \n\nIn addition there is also a pool/snack bar onsite that is open during the day and serves a wide selection of refreshing drinks and snacks to help keep you going. \n\n##Swimming Pools\n The studios feature a large sparkling outdoor pool and a separate pool for children, which provides an excellent way to cool off from the sun during your stay, or alternatively you could work on your tan and soak up the sun some more on the terrace by the pool.
