Thunderbird Lodge (Grand Canyon)

The hotel is conveniently located between El Tovar and Bright Angel Lodge in the heart of the Grand Canyon Village Historic District. The lodge is central to the Grand Canyon's Native American handicraft shops. This contemporary lodge, which was recently renovated in the spring of 2004, is located on the Canyon Rim. It offers easy walking access to the dining facilities at either El Tovar or Bright Angel Lodge. Check-in for guests is at the Bright Angel Lodge. All of the rooms are ideally suited for families. These rooms have either 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, as well as television, coffee maker and modem ports. In-room safe, hairdryer and a telephone come as standard. The lodge has non-smoking rooms and rooms designed for guests with physical disabilities. All rooms are air-conditioned.
