Narima Bungalow Resort (!)

This bungalow complex is situated right by Klong Nin Beach and is just a 10-minute drive from Krabi Town or Khlong Jiraj Pier in Krabi. A 3-hour passenger ferry trip will take guests to Koh Lanta Yai or Koh Lanta Noi Island. A car ferry service operates from Hua Hin Pier, Krabi to Lanta Noi Island. Those wishing to travel to Lanta Yai will have to take another ferry from Lanta Noi. The ferries have no fixed departure times but normally operate between 6 am and 10 pm. All ferry times are subject to weather conditions and short notice changes or cancellations. The complex is 1 hour from Krabi Airport or 3 and a half hours from Phuket International Airport. Built in 2008, this resort is set along the scenic Klong Nin beach on Lanta Yai Island. This beachside resort is designed in a natural style, and has 32 wooden, thatched roof bungalows scattered around shady gardens. For those seeking relaxation, the 3 levels of the beachside pool and sea view restaurant are suitable quiet retreats. Facilities available to guests at the resort include a hotel safe, bar, Internet access, room and laundry service and a bicycle hire service. Spacious and individual, the bungalows feature a large bedroom with air conditioning and ceiling fans and walls comprising sliding glass doors overlooking the gardens and the Andaman Sea. The furnishings are simple and feature warm natural materials. The modern bathrooms are private but open-air in traditional Thai style, with a hot shower and western toilets. Large roofed private balconies offer a great place to relax and enjoy the view in deck chairs made of sugar palm fronds. All bungalows feature a minibar, a direct dial telephone and a private balcony or terrace with protection from mosquitos. The facilities at the hotel include a private sandy beach, Thai massage treatments, mountain biking, a golf driving range, a DVD movie library, a collection of jazz music, and a hot tub and swimming pool with children's swimming area.
